I believe that in a way there are only neutral Lenormand cards.
When it comes to Lenormand cards, I believe that there are no absolute positive or absolute negative cards. I think that, in a way, there are only neutral Lenormand cards. Why? Because one must always take a look at all cards in the spread, put them in the context of a particular situation, and read them together.
For example, Anchor (which usually shows stability) is a positive card, but when it comes to health questions, and it is in a combo with a tree, it could easily mean health won’t improve for a longer period of time. Again, take a look at all cards in a spread and put them into the context.
However, if I had to categorize Lenormand cards into groups of positive, negative, and neutral Lenormand cards, this is how I would do it:
02 Clover
09 Bouquet
16 Stars
17 Stork
18 Dog
24 Heart
25 Ring
30 Sun
32 Moon
33 Key
34 Fish
35 Anchor
06 Clouds
07 Snake
08 Coffin
10 Scythe
11 Whip
14 Fox
23 Mice
21 Mountain
36 Cross
01 Rider
03 Ship
04 House
05 Tree
12 Birds
13 Child
15 Bear
19 Tower
20 Garden
22 Crossroad
26 Book
27 Letter
28 Man
29 Woman
30 Lilies
Neutral cards are usually highly influenced by surrounding cards.
